Station Park, a premier shopping destination located in Farmington, Utah, 20 minutes north of Salt Lake City, is excited to announce their grand opening on the weekend of June 28 and 29, 2013. With the opening of several new retail stores, free high-energy music entertainment, and other fun family activities, Station Park is pulling out all the stops to make sure their grand opening is enjoyed by all in the community.Station Park is an upscale shopping center with popular retail stores, exquisite dining options, and fun entertainment for the whole family. Included in the center is a park, play area for children, world-class show fountain and even an outdoor winter ice skating rink. The fountain is a state-of-the-art creation that displays colorful, choreographed, lighted water shows synced with popular music on an hourly schedule during the center's normal operating hours.
New retail stores scheduled to open on June 28 at Station Park include Chico's, a popular fashion store, Dickey's Barbecue Pit, serving mouth-watering food, GYMBOREE, a leading children's clothing store, and IT'SUGAR, offering fine candy. The first 50 in line at each of these stores will receive a free $25 gift card.
Other stores that are set to open on June 28 include Bandidos Taqueria, Cherry Berry and Orange Leaf, all giving away free $10 gift cards to the first 50 people in line. Additional stores that will be opening soon or which have recently opened in the shopping center include H&M, Starbucks, Habit Burger Grill, GAP, Old Navy, Prana Yoga and Sugar Daisy Bakery.
Fun, free family activities will be happening throughout the summer - pony rides for the kids, face painting, dog shows, classic car shows and of course the much-anticipated Rock the Park Summer Concert Series. Station Park has teamed up with Green Light Booking, a premier entertainment agency in Utah, to bring in nine exciting live bands to perform every Saturday night from June 29 to August 24, 2013. They have scheduled the best live bands in Utah, and will also be flying in a few other phenomenal bands from around the country. Station Park and Green Light Booking have teamed up many times before to pull off fabulous grand openings (including the recent H&M Grand Opening), concert series, and other well-received events in the Farmington community.
Party Crashers, one of the best event bands in the country, is set to perform on June 29, the grand opening weekend. They have performed in major Las Vegas hotels, Toronto International Film Festival, multi-million dollar weddings, celebrity parties and weddings, and other major events all over the world. Party Crashers is sure to kick off the Rock the Park Summer Concert Series with a bang.
