Southwestern College is guided by a new board of advisors whose combined experience and diversity help maintain balance.

Southwestern College (http://swc.edu) offers Masters Degrees in Counseling and Art Therapy. It is an education that encompasses the varied healing practices of cultures the world over, and expands the student’s boundaries outside that of their personal experience. Likewise, when the school faces an issue that is beyond the familiarity of its staff or Trustees it calls upon a group of people whose names are known across the globe. With more than 20 people from a diverse set of backgrounds, the Southwestern College Board of Advisors (http://swc.edu/advisors/) brings wisdom to discussions of policy, curriculum, licensing, marketing development and many more issues on an as needed basis.

“These are amazing people, and they care enough about Southwestern College to be advisors. We at Southwestern College are appreciative and proud that they do,” says Dr. Jim Nolan, President of Southwestern College.

The Board of Advisors was established four years ago to help maintain a balanced dialog regarding school policy and growth. By purposefully seeking out thought-leaders who can provide insight to a demographic that requires more representation the college ensures that its program is balanced for current and future students of all backgrounds.

Among the people that have given their time and consideration for Southwestern College are:
