Southbank Original Barbecue Announces 1st Annual RUNSOBRUN 5K Charity RunJust a few days away, Southbank Original Barbecue is gearing up for its 1st annual SOB run for charity that will be held on March 18, 2017, at 10:00 am. Registration begins at 9:00 am at SOB, 129 E Hydraulic St. in Yorkville.
This 1st annual SOB run is aimed at supporting CASA of Kendall County, a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteer citizen advocates who speak on behalf of abused, neglected and dependent children in Kendall County's juvenile court system. The non-profit organization believes that every child has the right to a safe, permanent and nurturing home.
In a bid to make their 1st charity run unique and interesting, the organization plans on featuring some interesting activities for all participants. Participants will receive a complimentary RUNSOBRUN t-shirt so that they can show their support year-round and also a specially priced buffet lunch will be available after the run.
