Space exploration has been one of the most important achievement in the history of human civilization. With recent discovery, that light exerts some pressure, NASA scientists came up with concept of solar sail. Just like a normal sail used by boats, Solar sail powered rockets will use large sails which will capture and use solar power to propel forward. The technology is being tested and NASA has tested the tech in 2004 with promising results.
