Singapore Oxley to push ahead their latest Official launch despite cooling measures by the City State

Amidst the much controversial cooling measure coming from the city state nation in taming the rising red-hot property market last month, home-grown residential developer Oxley stays positive and hopeful by pushing forward.

After the acceptance of $311 million bid from the collective sale process of Mayfair Gardens, Citrine Property Pte Ltd, a subsidiary investment arm of Oxley Holdings Limited had successfully acquired the two plots of land in late 2017. The reserve price of $265 million was met and raise without much resistance even with stiff competition due to the attractive locale of the former Mayfair Gardens.

The large 208,000 square foot site will be redeveloped by the local developer and according to sources, a British Colonial theme of the new development site will be preferred after the major makeover. They have since renamed the former Mayfair Gardens to Mayfair Modern from receiving a higher vote preference on the latter, it is slated to be released officially in September 2018 (after the seventh lunar month of Chinese Calendar) and poised to shake the real estate scene once again.

The latest project by Oxley could be very well-receive when it is ready to launch for public viewing, the site is located at Rifle Range Road and along Dunearn Road. Although it is tagged with a postal district of 21, the actual location is within the Upper Bukit Timah, an immediate neighbour of our prime district 10 on the same stretch of road.

It is certainly a much more viable option for the price sensitive home purchasers in such a climate, by paying a lot lesser for almost the same prestige. It was tried, tested and proven when Oxley launched their KAP Residences across the road previously. It was a mixed-used development with commercial entities, a 100 percent sold out project in a pretty quick pace back in 2013. With such factors lingering in mind, we strongly believe the Mayfair Modern will do well on sales front in the coming months ahead.

There will be 386 beautiful apartment units spanning across both plot 1 and plot 2 site, a variation of different layouts for different profile type of home seekers for this 99-year leasehold development.
