Holidaymakers are invited to search exclusively for holiday cottages by the sea on a brand new website launched this week by Simply Seaviews.
The new site showcases some of the finest cottages and holiday homes available for hire in the UK, featuring only properties with uninterrupted sea views.
The list of coastal cottages, houses and apartments include sea view properties in key UK holiday destinations such as Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Suffolk, Norfolk and Scotland.
Simply Seaviews hopes the collection of seaside cottages on its website will assist those people for whom a sea view is the key factor in selecting a self catering property for their holidays.
Website founder Josh Williams said: “There are loads of travel websites out there which offer amazing variety and choice, which is great, but this makes it very difficult to hone down to the elements which are most important to a holiday visitor.
“Having been involved in the holiday market for several years, we’ve found that one of the biggest features people ask for when booking a holiday is a cottage by the sea so they can enjoy sea views of the stunning coastline in their chosen destination.”
The Cornwall based company used its local knowledge and contacts to entice owners of cottages with sea views to promote their properties via a beta version of the site launched last year in Cornwall.
After the successful local trial, which was applauded by cottage owners and website visitors, Simply Seaviews has launched its site nationwide and is busy taking on new sea view properties located all around the UK coastline.
The website allows visitors to search for seaside cottages by county, town or village and specify the number of people in their party. They can then further filter down their selection by type of sea view and whether the property has a terrace, private parking or allows dogs.
Each property listing has a wealth of information about the cottage and the surrounding area, allowing website visitors to make an informed choice. Each listing also contains photos, availability calendars and the ability to send a direct enquiry message to the property owner.
Mr Williams added: “We’re extremely excited by the UK roll-out of the website. We hope people will enjoy the simplicity of the website and that it will become the first port of call for anyone looking exclusively for sea view holiday properties.”
