The team created a program to detect user awareness while driving through images taken of the driver’s face while driving. MATLAB then isolates the eyes from the pictures taken and uses sophisticated processes to determine whether the user’s eyes indicate signs of drowsiness. The program then notifies the user that their eyes are closed to alert them before an accident occurs.
