In a recent study, comparing the Silosack to Probox, the Silosack reduced transportation costs by hundreds of thousands when shipping 10k filled bins and then returning them. The savings made were because more of the space-saving Silosacks fitted on a truck due to them having a lighter tare weight than Proboxes.
Other savings the study noted included the setup and takedown of 10k bins, which reduced labor costs by 156 person-days, and warehouse savings (Silosacks can be stacked 5 high) on the storage of 10k full bins. Both savings combined reduced costs by more than $80,000 USD.
