New UwMic9 System offers dual-channel, camera-mountable UHF wireless for broadcast-quality sound
“We are obsessed with audio quality,” said a spokesperson for Saramonic UK. “Our products provide stellar, broadcast-quality sound. We are excited to introduce the UwMic9 and other products in this latest expansion of our product portfolio.”
The UwMic9 system consists of two TX9 Transmitters and an RX9 Receiver. This setup enables users to put clip-on lavalier microphones onto two separate people and record their conversation through a single receiver. The RX9 Receiver offers six selectable channels in two groups (A and B). It has a wireless frequency range of 863-865MHz and PLL synthesizer type of oscillator. The antenna is of the ¼ wavelength type.
Each of the two TX9 Transmitters also has six selectable channels in A and B groups. They feature locking 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS mini-jack inputs. The reference audio input level is 60 dBV (MIC input, 0 dB attenuation). Their signal to noise ratio is 70 dB or more. Voice delay is 12 ms.
The UwMic9 system is the latest addition to Saramonic UK’s extensive line of professional audio equipment. Their product list includes on-camera shotgun microphones for SLRs, camera mixers and adapters, mobile audio solutions and wireless systems.
