San Diego Rock Artist Scrojo’s Art Exhibition at Eve Encinitas Opens Friday

A major retrospective exhibit featuring rock poster artist Scrojo opens Friday June 30 at Eve Encinitas. The San Diego artist has provided posters for live music events by big names such as the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, Lady Ga Ga and The Killers.

Scrojo is the most prolific poster artist of the rock era, famous for creating posters for live music performances featuring artists such as the Rolling Stones, Lady Ga Ga and Bob Dylan.

Scrojo was born and raised in Encinitas, CA and began creating posters at age 19. He creates his hand drawn images with paper and pencil, and his work reflects his life and experience of growing up in a music obsessed Southern California beach town.

His work is being celebrated at a major retrospective exhibition featuring 30 years of his work. The exhibition will take place at Eve Encinitas, 575 S. Coast Highway 101, Encinitas, CA and will run from June 30 to July 23 2017.

Much of his work has consists of posters for live music performances at famous locations such as the Belly Up T in Solana Beach and its companion club in Aspen, CO. Scrojo also creates work for the Legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. Scrojo has created art work for some of the biggest names in the music industry such as the Rolling Stones, Lady GaGa, Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, The Killers and Jimmy Buffet.

His work has also caught the attention of the TV world with his work featured on prominent TV shows such as Girls, Fear the Walking Dead and Nurse Betty. His art has also been seen in advertising campaigns for Disney, Nike, Universal Studios and the San Diego Zoo.
