A new charity program has been launched, called The Ruth Program, designed as a rescue mission for single women living on low income and needing a stable home. The Round Rock, TX charity is not limited to just our community as we are moving forward with becoming nationwide. The Ruth Program charity pairs these women with the right elderly widow needing a live-in care companion.

The new care match program helps both women by giving them a hand up together, rather than just a handout alone. With the new program, seniors who have been abandoned, abused or simply need in-home care, can be paired with the right single woman in need of a stable home.
The requirements for a single woman’s eligibility for the program is a woman not raising children and her only handicap is her financial limitations. The Ruth Program gives those women the chance to have a stable home environment and a senior the support of a live-in care companion.
The Ruth Program was formally established in July 2017 with the overall view that there is a solution for every situation, and aims to bridge the gap for women in need who have no voice. The new program has the remedy to solve many of these unfortunate circumstances.
Interested parties supporting the program can help with donations to bridge the gap in the community for women in need who have no voice. Corporate sponsorship greatly encouraged as the charity’s goal is to become nationwide. If anyone is in need, or knows someone who needs assistance, The Ruth Program can be a solution.
There are many elderly women who have lost their life spouses and can’t afford the help they need or widows just seeking someone to live in their home so they’re not alone. There is a one-time vetting fee for the program on a case by case basis.
Program creator, Angela Gettis, said: “This program was born out of my journey living like a disciple lead by Jesus. I appreciated helping elderly widows as a ministry in need throughout my seven year journey effective since 2012 on and off privately giving me the tools to understand what this program requires to become the leader needed to bring these women together and helping them overall.”
