Rotary International is a well-known international community service organization which has served individuals in need for more than 100 years. The Central Ocean Rotary Club of Toms River, New Jersey, as part of their ongoing legacy of contributing to the community, launched a new program this year. Because of the continuing importance of technology in higher education, the Central Ocean Rotary Club donated laptops to Toms River students who are college-bound with demonstrated financial needs.The need for laptops surpassed the number of laptops available, and students were in danger of beginning college without a laptop. However, Harry Levin, a lawyer from the area and his law firm, LevinCyphers, provided additional funding to meet the need for more computers.
As a long-time member of Central Ocean Rotary Club, who has also served as its president twice, Harry Levin, Toms River, NJ, understood the needs. With the help of his law firm, Central Ocean Rotary met the needs of these local students, and offered a special thank you to all involved for making the new program a success. In addition to his commitment to excellence and community at the Rotary Club, Mr. Levin also supports several non-profit organizations.
