Richmond, VA - Richmond Training Concepts (804-592-1782) announces the schedule of its CPR training and certification courses for the last quarter of the year. The premier first-aid instruction company has served professionals in the state for over nine years.

Continuing its mission of offering up-to-date first-aid certification classes for all of Virginia, Richmond Training Concepts has released its schedule for the rest of the year. The center offers both AHA and ASHI classes, depending on the needs of the students.

The newly announced classes are designed for healthcare professionals or concerned civilians who want to learn how to respond to life-threatening emergencies, including providing CPR, using an AED, and relieving choking. Each class has a written and skills test, and offers a certification card that is valid for two years.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), around nine in 10 people who have a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital die. However, if CPR is applied as an immediate intervention, the chance of survival dramatically increases. This is why many medical experts recommend that more people become familiar with basic life-saving skills.

Cognizant of these statistics and addressing the growing demand for first-aid skills especially during a pandemic, the training center has strengthened its CPR, AED, and basic first-aid combo classes. Interested students can choose from four different classes: AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ASHI combo class, ASHI CPR for community and workplace, and ASHI basic first-aid.

Classes range from three to six hours with each schedule having a limited student capacity to practice social distancing. Richmond Training Concepts says that students can arrange for a special class that suits their desired date and time. A minimum number of two students is required for the special training.

Depending on the class taken, a skills test may be required on top of the written exam. Once students pass the course, they will be given a certification card that is valid for 24 months from its issuance. Healthcare professionals must renew their certifications after this time.

The center reminds students that no refunds will be given to students who take the wrong class for their job.

Richmond Training Concepts have weekly classes at their training center on Midlothian Turnpike.
