Mountain Gospel, Kentucky’s Listener Supported Southern Gospel Broadcast, announced Rejoice 2020, a FREE Southern Gospel concert series, running May 5 through May 8 and available on demand after the initial release.

This event features music from many popular Southern Gospel artists, including Mark Bishop, the Primitive Quartet, 11th Hour, Chosen Road, and the Rochesters.
Rejoice2020 has also announced the appearance of other special guests, including Ken Davis, well known motivational speaker and comedian, Dallas Jenkins, Director and Producer of The Chosen, the first-ever multi-season series based on the true stories of the Gospels of Jesus Christ, Arthur Rice of the Kingdom Heirs, Brian Free of Brian Free and Assurance, Jeff and Sheri Easter, and more.
The primary method to watch the event is via Facebook Live, available at the website listed above. They are also broadcasting it on two local radio stations, 99.9 FM WMTC in Jackson Kentucky, 1470 AM WBFC in Stanton Kentucky, streaming online, and other venues. The goal is to allow as many people as possible to experience this encouraging and uplifting music during a time when large groups are not able to gather in person.
According to Dan Lorimer, General Manager of the ministry, “Millions of people are struggling right now with doubt, fear, depression, and so much worse – we are bringing hope in the midst of hard times – and what better hope than the Gospel message! We are doing everything we can to help and encourage our community during Covid-19.”
The ministry states that though they could charge a considerable amount per attendee for this week long event, they are refusing to sell tickets and instead are making it available for free to everyone because they are concerned about many struggling financially during this time. They don’t want anyone to be excluded because of financial hardship.
The purpose of this LIVE experience is to raise support for Southern Gospel Christian broadcasting through Mountain Gospel, reaching thousands with the life changing hope of Jesus and daily strength and encouragement for believers.
