Chestnut Tutoring has announced that it can provide high school students with expert tutoring in Math, Science, and SAT/ACT Prep. Established in 1997, it offers academic support, advanced learning and remediation for Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Kingston High School, Saugerties, Lake Katrine, and Pine Plains.

Chestnut Tutoring is run by Philip Russo, who started tutoring in college while completing his degree at the University of Chicago. He was asked to teach the Dean’s children, who were attending University High School, and coached them in a variety of subjects.
Later, he began an education masters degree at the University of Albany, and established his business in full-service tutoring for community members around Rhinebeck, New York. He has been teaching for over 20 years, covering a wide range of subjects.
