Successful real estate entrepreneur and mentor John Sheldon invites “Handyman Bob” Strong, radio show host of “Around the House” on FM News 101 KXL, to share some of his industry secrets in the first segment of Sheldon’s next free “Listen, Learn, & Earn” Portland real estate investing training webinar.“Those who know me know that I don’t do rehab at all myself,” Sheldon points out, “but for those who have the time or interest, spending a day or three doing the right work can cause a property to sell much faster and for thousands to tens of thousands of dollars more. “Handyman Bob” Strong has been in and around construction since his high school days, through his Coast Guard career, followed by working for a regional home builder, and finally in his own handyman business since 1997. As a guest and eventually permanent host for the radio show “Around the House” on FM News 101 KXL Saturdays from noon to 2pm, Handyman Bob takes calls from listeners in Oregon and Washington seeking advice on maintenance, repair, renovation, and remodeling of their home.
Following Handyman Bob's presentation, Sheldon will be presenting the topic "Unlocking the Seller's Vault."
In this second segment, he will be condensing 12+ years of how he structures “win/win” offers that attract and encourage sellers to provide seller financing so that small multi-family properties can cash flow for the investor from the day they close. Sheldon will also demonstrate his custom spreadsheet tool that semi-automates the process of structuring such offers.
