QuadraNet, a leader in dedicated servers, colocation, and datacenter solutions announced this week that it has acquired Orlando-based Internet transit and transport provider DB Transit. As part of this acquisition, DB Transit has changed its name to Xlitt, effective immediately.The acquisition allows for the combination of complementary product-lines to form a more complete range of service offerings. All transit and transport customers will be serviced by Xlitt, the company’s Internet service arm. Existing colocation customers of DB Transit will be transitioned to QuadraNet’s colocation service. There are no plans to make staffing changes or modify service pricing at this time.

Ilan Mishan continued “Xlitt customers will now have access to a 24/7 manned Network Operations Center with knowledgeable technicians. We are also in the process of developing a DDoS protected transit service so that customers can have their network protected from this growing threat to service reliability.”
Xlitt COO Josh Noll stated “Aside from a simplified billing, ticketing, and management portal, existing DB Transit customers should notice no substantive changes to their service or pricing.
