Company Partners with Funded Today

— Qhipas has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.

About Qhipas

Qhipas are ethically handcrafted shoes made in Ecuador using an ancient and vibrantly colorful, planted wool fabric. The fabric is hand-loomed by the descendents of a very long line of Quechua-speaking artisans in Peru. Thus when you buy Qhipas, you help to sustain the legacy and the Quechua way of life. And at selling 3,000 pairs, Qhipas will build a new elementary school, hire two Quechua-speaking teachers, and provide meals for 50 kids for a year.

The Qhipas are crafted using the Strobel construction system. The colorful wool fabric used to make Qhipas is thermally bonded this italien-made technical interlining. This gives structure and durability to the wool fabric and is super breathable.

Qhipas wear noticeably cool and dry in hot weather and warm in cold weather.

Pricing and Availability

Qhipas is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by November 2019. The starting price for one pair of Qhipas is $119 USD.
