Public Safety Elite has recently announced the launch of their brand new scholarship program. The website, which aims to provide accurate and detailed information to those who are interested in landing a job in the field of public safety, is now taking their mission a step further by providing financial assistance to those who are headed down that career path. There are two scholarships available, and both will be awarded to students pursuing higher learning at an accredited institution.Jim Connelly of Public Safety Elite commented “We named our website Public Safety Elite for a reason. It’s because we believe that first responders – those who put their lives on the line by running into dangerous situations – are elite members of society. There’s no doubt that we need more well-educated public safety officials who are courageous critical thinkers and know how to resolve problems quickly and efficiently. This is the very reason we have decided to offer these Public Safety Scholarships. We know that those who want to devote their lives to a public safety career sometimes need a little help, and we’ve found a way to give it to them.”
The Public Safety Elite Scholarship Program features two scholarships. The first is an Essay Scholarship that requires applicants to attend an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning where they are studying in a public safety-related field as well as submit a 500 – 1,000-word essay detailing why they want to pursue a career in public safety. The second is a Random Scholarship for which the team at Public Safety Elite will randomly select two essay scholarship applicants to receive a $500 award.
