Prosensor shares information about some of the most common types of temperature sensors.

Prosensor is a Vietnamese company that has gained popularity among Vietnamese people. They are ruling the Vietnamese market when it comes to selling measuring sensors. A representative from the company talks about some of the most common types of temperature sensors. One of the most used sensors in industries today is temperature sensors. One can find these temperature sensors in almost all the factories in Vietnam. A person can find several types of temperature sensors; however, all the sensors are classified into two main parts. One is RTD and the other is Thermocouple sensors. An employee from the company further explains that people often use Pt100 sensors in factories. Not many know that Pt100 is another name of the RTD sensor. The sensor types that are included in the RTD temperature sensor are Ni100, Pt100, and electrically auxiliary linear. The measuring range of the PT100 temperature sensor depends on the type of sensor a person has. Usually, the maximum temperature that one can measure with the help of the RTD temperature sensor is -200 to +850 ºC.

Pt100 temperature sensor also is of 2 types. These are wire types and plant. They both have 2 wire or 3 wire so, one should expect slightly different wiring than others. PT100 wire type measuring sensor is usually used to measure high accuracy and low temperature. These types of sensors are used in the plant to determine the temperature. The Ni100 temperature sensor is another type of RTD temperature. But it is less common among people as its measuring range is only from -60 to +250 C.

An employee from the company then talks about the Thermocouple type temperature sensor. These are used to measure higher temperatures. However, when compare to RTD in terms of accuracy, one will find less accuracy in using the Thermocouple type of temperature sensor. This type of sensor doesn’t have a resistance of 0-100 ohm, which means sometimes the measured value might be incorrect. To check the temperature of the combustion chamber and furnace, one cannot use Pt100 sensors. One has to use R-sensor, K-sensor, S-sensor.

Prosensor provides several other services. They convert signals and gauges with the help of sensors. One can know more about Prosensor and its product by clicking the link mentioned below: https://prosensor.vn/
