Potion Commotion is a card game that implements simple and easy to learn rules without sacrificing unique and creative gameplay! This is a game of strategy, ruthless business, and hilarity. Players will take on the role of potion brewers to try and strike it rich without becoming horribly mutated. The wealthiest player at the end is the winner.
Potion Commotion is a 3-8 player turn based strategy card game. In this game you will take turns using action points to choose from an array of ways to become richer. You can complete easy tasks for quick money, or bide your time for higher paying rewards. Your friends will try to stop you, but every great potion brewer has a plan.
Specialty Potions are worth a lot more money, but they also take time and strategy to complete. Crafting these is the main way to win the game. There are four recipes out at all times for players to complete on their turn, so you will have fierce competition for them. When players find that their ingredients don't match the recipes, the only option is to drink it! The players will need to draw from the Drink It deck. A silly action will be given to the player that they must perform, and if another player catches you not performing the task then you will owe them money. Each game comes with a 2-piece card box, 1 rulebook, and 188 playing cards.
Pricing and Availability
Potion Commotion is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by June 2021. The starting price for one Potion Commotion is $20 USD.
