The famous alternative rock band Veio announced it will be playing the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon, this July 28th. The concert will be their ‘Jupiter Rising Live DVD’ recording show and feature several songs from their new album, Infinite Light/Desperate Shadows.

Veio is a progressive hard rock band from Portland bringing progressive rock and metal fans together with its heavy, melodic and original sound, compared by many to the highly revered Tool.
As part of their new Western US tour, the hard rock band announced it will be headlining the ‘Northwest Hard Rock Invitational Summer Showdown’ at the Roseland Theater in its hometown of Portland, this Saturday, July 28th.
This hometown concert will feature several of the new songs from their latest album, Infinite Light/Desperate Shadows, and it will provide the stage for the filming of their new DVD, ‘Jupiter Rising Live.”
The ‘Summer Showdown’ concert will also feature bands like Rustmine, MLSD, or Vial…Experiment on the All Ages stage, Bad Plan, David Dufee’s Southern Rain or Crowded Habit at the 21+ Peter’s Room and a raffle benefiting The Wounded Warrior Project.

The concert follows their recent gigs in Seattle and at the Paris Theater in Portland, and their highly acclaimed shows with Starset at the Knitting Factory in Boise and Spokane, and at The Complex in Salt Lake City.
