"Strap it, Click it, and Keep Down the Phone" Mantra Strongly in Effect for Labor Day Weekend

Police forces in Eugene, Oregon are geared up for their 2-week campaign to reduce road-related accidents. The three-flag safety blitz mantra "strap it, click it, and keep down the phone" will be strongly enforced prior to, and during, Labor Day Weekend. "There are still some people that aren't wearing their seat belts. Sometimes it's just a matter of people being in a hurry or doing something else in their car where their hands are encumbered. Or, maybe they're just going down the road, that kind of thing," stated Doug Ledbetter, of the EPD.

The campaign focuses not only on drivers' behaviors but also on their capacity to follow traffic rules. Officers are working overtime to ensure that people on the road drive as safely as possible. Ledbetter also said that they're on the look-out for distracted drivers.

Part of the preparations for this event included ensuring car owners have a first aid kit ready for any situation. Surviveware's Large First Aid Kit is an ideal vehicle emergency kit or bug-out bag.

The kit's case is made of durable 600D polyester, so drivers who are always on-the-go don't have to worry about carrying bulky containers. Unlike plastic cases that break under pressure, fabric cases are sturdy and lightweight.

Vehicle collisions can result in minor to severe wounds such as contusions, lacerations, or concussions. Surviveware's Large First Aid Kit contains 200 medical items that can be used to treat injuries and provide the means for stabilizing major cases. Moreover, since these injuries must be treated immediately, this large first aid kit contains plenty of adhesives, bandages, gauze swabs, steri-strips, and cleansing wipes. The package also has additional life-saving tools such as medical-grade trauma shears, a whistle, nitrile gloves, hydrogels, and a CPR kit.

This life-saving pack has durable top handles that help kit owners to carry it with ease. The first aid kit also has MOLLE-compatible straps so that kit owners can conveniently attach the kit to a headrest, rucksack, hammock, camping chair, or really anywhere.

Many customers have attested to the quality and functionality of this Large First Aid Kit. Michael, a Surviveware Amazon customer, wrote a review to share his satisfaction:
