Bedford, Ohio – Woodside Senior Living will present Pink Flamingo Day Senior Fun Celebration, taking place at 19455 Rockside Road, Bedford, OH 44146 on June 23, 20120 between the hours 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, and featuring Plastic Pink Flamingos, Singer John Pearson, Singer Greg Piscura, and Pop Culture CLE, games and fun outdoor activities.
Woodside Senior Living is proud to celebrate the National Pink Flamingo Day in Bedford, Ohio for the first time for their senior residents and families to enjoy. Pink Flamingo Day Senior Fun Celebration will bring joy to all the seniors that have been quarantine due to the covid-19 outbreak. Seniors around the country had limited activities in the past few months. Woodside Senior living will host the event outside to stay within the state requirement of social distancing and yet there will be activities designed for the seniors from Popsicle and pink lemonade to live entertainment and games. The grounds will be covered with the Infamous Plastic Pink Flamingos. The celebration will take place from 1:30pm – 3:30pm on June 23, 2020 The official National Pink Flamingo Day. Come celebrate the National Pink Flamingo Day with us. Everything pink, be sure to wear pink and think pink.
Pink Flamingo Day was declared in 2007 by Dean Mazzaralla, the mayor of Leominster, Massachusetts. This was done to honor the work of Don Featherstone, creator of the plastic lawn flamingo.
