On Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 5:00 pm, Robert J. Mandell, partner and lead trial attorney at The Mandell Law Firm in Northridge, California will address the 15th Annual Neuroscience of Brain Injury Conference, held in Sonoma, California. The subject of Mr. Mandell’s talk will be “Legal Challenges Facing the Brain Injured: The Role of Medical Providers.”According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 1.4 million Americans sustain a brain injury each year. Brain injuries arise in a variety of contexts and in varying degrees of extremity. Sometimes brain injury, where there are no external signs of severe trauma, might not be immediately diagnosed or recognized. Furthermore, these brain injuries, which carry a hidden but substantial toll on the injured party, can often be difficult to prove.
