Panda Planner is a Breakout Crowdfunding Success Story, Leading Digital Detox Revolution in Planner Industry

Live on Kickstarter, the Panda Planner Quarterly is planner engineered to make users happier and more productive combined with a research-backed magazine.

Panda Planner Quarterly, the all new quarterly planner magazine hybrid from the perennially best-selling planner company, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and a breakout success story having far exceeded the initial raise goal with more than $80,000 pledged so far.

In a world that is growing increasingly more digital, paper planners and magazines have been decreasing in popularity. Panda Planner, however, is leading an astounding resurgence in revitalizing both industries. The company’s paper-based planning approach has shattered expectations in today’s digital world. With the new Panda Planner Quarterly, the team is looking to marry two industries thought to be headed downhill into a successful hybrid model that is set to break new records.

“Having gone through many dark years when dealing with Lyme, TBI and cancer, I needed a way to train my brain to get back to looking on the bright side.  That's where the idea of Panda Planner came from. With over a half million sold worldwide now- I felt like we could do more, so I took the latest scientific research and all the feedback from our Panda community and got back to work,” says founder and CEO Michael Leip on the inspiration behind the project. “There are a ton of great planners on the market, but I feel like if you're not aware of the latest research on how to develop the right habits for success, you'll end up just getting frustrated and stop using the planner.  Panda Planner Quarterly is my answer to solve that problem."

Part of the original Panda Planner’s success may come from evidence showing that people are looking to increase happiness through digital detoxes, and the company’s paper-based approach fills that niche. But the leading factor in the brand’s success and legions of enthusiastic users is the scientific approach creator Michael Leip took in creating the best-selling daily planner.

With the Panda Planner Quarterly, Leip wanted to provide users with a more holistic wellness experience that would arm them with the latest research-backed information and strategies to boost their happiness and success. Thus, the PPQ was born, containing 50 pages of research-backed productivity and happiness information followed by a dated quarterly planner so users can learn from experts and then put that knowledge into practice with their daily scheduling and reflection activities.

“Given that the majority of people feeling overwhelmed at an all-time high, with over 57% of Americans feeling paralyzed by stress and anxiety- the work the Panda Planner team is doing is critical, “adds Leip. “I feel like we need more systems like Panda Planner Quarterly in the market to help people combat them and get back to feeling happy."
