P.A.T. Given Own Channel on Pandora Radio

Fort Worth, Texas has yet to a have a worthy mainstream hip hop artist, but there could be one on the rise with the likes of P.A.T., aka Patrick Barnett.

Ft. Worth, Texas is not known as a breeding ground for artists, especially for those in the hip hop genre. In fact, many artists are forced to leave the Ft. Worth, Texas area in order to succeed. However, rising hip hop artist P.A.T, aka Patrick A. Barnett may be changing all of that. This Operation OIF/OEF war veteran with the USAF, turned hip hop artist is receiving notoriety for his compelling lyricism and stylish sound. He is quickly up and coming with even online music service Pandora giving him his own channel.

NME Magazine printed, "This young rapper delivers the goods in a manner that all can understand and without all of the obscenities that we’ve grown accustomed to in hip hop."

P.A.T., which is an acronym for “Poetic And Talented” is the CEO and artist for Independent Record Label, Midnight Society Entertainment. His first album, Where the Sidewalk Ends, recently submitted to the 57th Annual Grammy Awards for best rap album, was inspired by Shel Silverstein who is the reason why P.A.T. began to rhyme and write poetry. This album was downloaded over 60,000 times in various countries like France, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Brazil, and of course the USA to name a few.

A new EP is entitled Smoke & Mirrors by P.A.T. is set to release on September 9th. His second album, Go Hard or Go Home, Underground Hip Hop, will be released worldwide on October 28th. All of P.A.T.'s recordings will be available online.
