Orb Drop III has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.About Orb Drop III
Orb Drop III is a marble run track you build yourself. It is a DIY mechanical toy kit with a unique composite design which creates a rewarding hands-on experience and promotes STEM-related thinking.
Orb Drop III features a large 10" diameter wheel lift propelled by a belt and pulleys which are connected to an electric motor. An alternating track switch is positioned after the first rail in order to supply orbs to two separate drops.
The first drop is the shorter of the two, it has a 60 degree drop into a barrel roll loop and finishes into a large 4" diameter funnel . The second drop is longer, it contains a sequence of small drops and inclines while banking around 9 curves and finishes into the same large funnel. After the funnel, all orbs follow the final two rails to bottom of the wheel lift to make their way back up to the top.
Pricing and Availability
Orb Drop III is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by April 2021. The starting price for one Orb Drop III is $99 USD.
