Omnikron Systems Inc. is proud to announce course accreditation! Omnikron's Leadership Elevation Framework is recognized as a College Credit Program, and attendees can earn 16.5 total credit hours in addition to their LEF Certificate through Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC).

Omnikron Systems, Inc. has been awarded accreditation for the Leadership Elevation Framework, which is comprised of 30 courses covering a variety of leadership, business/management and IT topics. Omnikron’s courses have received accreditation through Illinois Valley Community College and the Higher Learning Commission’s Open Pathway accreditation program. The Open Pathway is designed for institutions that consistently meet the accreditation criteria and do not require extensive monitoring by the Higher Learning Commission in order to maintain their accreditation status.

Organizations which place a premium on employee education and training through tuition assistance programs recognize the critical role ongoing training plays in developing a workforce that is powerful, confident and innovative. Accreditation guarantees quality and consistency through a benchmarking and accountability process conducted by an outside source (the Higher Learning Commission). Organizations and individuals focused on securing effective, high-level training can trust that the credentialing process results in high-quality training and coursework taught by established knowledge leaders and educators.

Omnikron president Robin Borough commented, “Omnikron has long been focused on delivering training that is of exceptional quality to help professionals further their careers through education. In fact, we’ve partnered with The Lumina Foundation to promote workforce education and quality training. We are proud of our accredited courses and look forward to providing training to a wide range of professionals as well as business students at the university level.”

Lumina Foundation’s Goal 2025 seeks to increase the proportion of Americans with degrees, certificates and other high-quality credentials to 60 percent by 2025, defined as those that are based on transparent learning outcomes and that lead to further education and employment. Omnikron shares The Lumina Foundation’s ongoing education goals, credentialing initiatives and belief in educational/learning outcomes as a means to strengthen leaders, teams, individuals and the corporations and companies they work for.

According to the Lumina Foundation: “High-quality learning is a pathway to increase both employers’ ability to compete and employees’ access to career opportunity and higher wages. To help fill talent and skill gaps, U.S. employers spend approximately $177B annually on formal training and talent development. On average, 10% of an employer’s learning and development (L&D) spend is on tuition assistance to provide access to postsecondary degrees and credentials to improve knowledge and skills.”

Josh Bersin, founder and Principal of Bersin by Deloitte, has this to say about workplace education: “On a business level, our employment brand and ability to attract and engage people is now directly related to learning. My analysis of Glassdoor ratings shows that “career opportunities” are twice as important (measured through correlation) as compensation in predicting whether or not an employee would recommend your company as a great place to work … For millennials, who are now becoming the core part of the workforce, learning opportunities are the #1 factor in selecting a job.”
