Ohming Technology is commenting on how more Google searches are conducted via mobile devices than desktops

Ohming Technology (www.ohming.com), a company that is making it more convenient to charge multiple devices simultaneously, is weighing in on how more Google searches take place via mobile devices than desktops.

In May 2015, Google announced that more Google searches are conducted on mobile devices than on computers in 10 different countries worldwide. The list of countries was not revealed, however Google did specify that mobile searches include mobile browser-based queries and those queries coming from Google mobile search apps. “This is a huge shift in Internet consumption that was bound to happen,” says Paul Romanenko, owner and CEO of Ohming Technology. “But now that we are in this mobile reality, what does this mean for businesses and marketers who are trying to reach consumers every single day?”

According to experts, the advancements in smartphones and tablets are gradually becoming less enterprise-oriented and more user-friendly—and businesses have to adapt.

“When people are able to do everything on mobile devices at the same level they are able to execute actions on desktops or laptops, then they will use mobile devices,” Romanenko notes. “It’s a different world right now and people are continually plugged in whether it is for social purposes or for work.”

Romanenko suggests that the rise of the remote employee also plays a major role in the use of mobile devices. With more Americans choosing to work from home, the necessity to incorporate mobile devices into the work day becomes essential, he adds.

“Employers are giving employees the freedom to work at home,” says Romanenko. “When you couple that with the growing number of freelancers, then it’s easy to see why people are accessing the Internet through their mobile devices. They have to.”

According to Romanenko, Ohming Technology sees its role in this cultural shift as being a leading provider of keeping mobile devices charged while they are continually on the move.

“If people genuinely can’t do without their mobile devices, then we have to make it possible for those devices to stay charged all day,” concludes Romanenko. “The charge M.E. offers multiple ports so people can charge more than one device at a time. And we’re able to offer this without the need to connect to multiple electrical outlets.”
