Saint Germain Catering, a woman-owned company well known in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. for their delectable offerings and attention to detail, has decided to add another facet to their monthly offerings. October is when we start to see candy, holiday offerings, and fall colors, but it’s also when pink takes over the nation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In support of this important cause, Saint Germain Catering has decided to add pink iced cupcakes topped with pink awareness ribbons to their menu.
These adorable and delicious cup cakes are not just great for those who purchase them; they provide an even bigger impact on the community. The proceeds from each $32 purchase of a dozen cupcakes is donated to help breast cancer awareness.
“Supporting such strong women and their families is inspiring and something we are so glad to be able to do,” says Sarah Miller, Vice President of Saint Germain Catering, when asked what motivated them to add these cupcakes to their repertoire. “The idea that our contribution could make a difference is good enough for our team.”
Founded in 1999, Saint Germain Catering has made it their mission to ensure each client’s event goes off without a hitch. They work tirelessly to provide excellent service as well as delicious food. The team has been known to orchestrate up to 200 events a day, but considers what they do pale in comparison to what breast cancer survivors, those currently battling the illness, and families of those who lost the fight do on a daily basis.
