Driving School Located Near Garland, Richardson And Plano Now Approved to Offer D.P.S. Certified Driving Test For Drivers License For Dallas Fort Worth Texas Residents

Today, 1-2-3 Driving School announced that it is now approved by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to conduct state sanctioned driving tests. This new program available to driver license applicants is known as the third party driving test program. Only Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation approved driving schools can be certified third party testing centers. This new program is managed by the Texas Department of Public Safety and gives more flexibility to those wishing to take their driving tests based on their personal schedules.

Chad Henry, owner of 1-2-3 Driving School, said, “Citizens in certain parts of Texas are now waiting up to 3 months to get an appointment for a driving test. To help address this problem we are proud to announce that we can now serve as an approved DPS third party driving test facility. This approval now allows us to provide those in the Dallas Fort Worth area, as well as anyone else in Texas, the ability to take their driving tests with us if their schedules do not match with availability at their local DPS offices. This approval will allow people to take tests on Saturdays and in the evening when most people are off of work. We are even considering some Sundays.”

According to the company’s website (http://www.1-2-3driving.com/) people interested in taking their official driving tests with 1-2-3 Driving School can schedule the test time online. Saturdays and evenings were available. The website provides directions and a list of the documents you must have in order to be eligible to take the driving test.

According to Henry, “If you are 18 or older it only requires 2 documents, a learner’s permit and an original Impact Texas Course completion certificate which can be obtained at this website (http://www.1-2-3driving.com/dps-impact-texas-drivers-course/). If you do not have a learner’s permit, you can take the approved online permit course at this website (https://www.driverseducationofamerica.com/texas/).”

Henry continued by saying, “By completing this course you no longer have to take the written test at the D.P.S. It takes 6 hours to complete, but it means you get to take the written portion of your driving test at home on your computer instead of waiting in a long line at the D.P.S. and risking failing it.In order to schedule a test online you will need information from your learner’s licenses (permit number, expiration date, etc.) and a DPS Impact Course complete date.”

Henry further indicated that those under 18 years of age need to provide their DE-964 certificate numbers as well. Those seeking to take the driving test who need corrective lenses or glasses must bring those to their tests.

1-2-3 Driving School is located at 7602 N. Jupiter Road, Suite 111, Garland TX 75044. It’s location allows the school to provide teenage drivers education in a classroom, as well as in-car driving lessons, to those in Richardson, Garland, Plano, Murphy and nearby towns. Adult driving lessons are available as well.
