Workforce Builders, in partnership with Toastmasters International, invite movers and shakers to learn about empowering leadership in their conference entitled “Leadership Challenges and Realities in Nigeria: The Role of Toastmasters,” to be held this Dec. 5, 2015 at the Food of the Sun Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The conference aims to serve as a training ground for developing future quality leaders in the African region, and for them to hone not only their communication skills but also broaden their perspectives on motivation and success.

The conference marks nine decades of Toastmasters’ excellent track record in providing opportunities to learn about communication and leadership to the general public. The event also doubles as a networking session where participants can connect with Toastmasters members at the Divisions E and F conference, as well as mingle with guests from around Nigeria and the West African coast. Other exciting activities include division level world-class speech contests, the unveiling of the Division Hall of Fame and a Division Council meeting.
Delivering the keynote address for the event will be Mr. Kyari A. Bukar, a seasoned speaker and prominent figure in Nigerian business. Mr. Bukar is the current managing director and chief executive officer of Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS). Mr. Bukar brings with him 17 years of experience in the professional world, including 14 years spent working at technology giant Hewlett-Packard.
