The Chef Caron Wine Wand combines three primary wine functions into a single product, and eliminates the need for multiple wine tools to accomplish chilling, pouring and aerating the wines. It is designed to appeal specifically to wine lovers, party hosts, wine suppliers, event coordinators, homemakers, and those interested in wine gifts and accessories.
The Chef Caron Wine Wand consists of a stainless steel rod, referred to as a “chill rod” which contains a gel that keeps the rod at below freezing temperatures; and an acrylic pourer/aerator that screws onto the rod. – The three-in-one concept of the Wine Wand enables the user to perform the three main functions of wine serving with a single tool. The wand, which is stored in a freezer until needed, is placed into the bottle and immediately begins chilling the wine and maintaining it at the correct temperature. The attached acrylic wine pourer and wine aerator is activated as the wine is poured.
The chill rod can be used with both white and red wines. – Most people prefer to serve and drink red wines at slightly below room temperature. The chill rod functions to lower the temperature of an un-chilled wine several degrees and hold it there for at least an hour. With a white wine, the chill rod can be used to maintain the temperature of a previously chilled wine while it is being served.
The acrylic pour spout features both a slow release, non-drip lip and an air entry mechanism. – The pourer/aerator, after being attached to the chill rod, fits into the neck of the bottle and is held in place by a silicone seal that separates the pourer from the aerator. The wine aerator is then immersed in the wine as it is being poured and the air bubbles into the wine immediately before it exits the bottle and enters the pour spout.
