Xeric has launched an incredibly successful KickStarter campaign for their space-inspired wristwatch. They have also partnered with Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the remaining weeks of their campaign.About The Watch
Inspired by the newly-discovered Trappist-1 solar system, the Moon phase watch has a large convex grill over the dial, which alludes to the bend in space-time. The face of the watch is made up of stars and planets, which rotate at a constant rate to tell time. There are also two super nova planets on the display, which act as the hour and minute hands, and the straps are made with full-grain leather. The luminescent moon display conveniently shows the current lunar phase.
Pricing and Availability
The Trappist-1 Moon phase watch is available to back now on KickStarter. They hope to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the watch is set to produce and ship to all backers by January of 2018. The starting price for one unit is $219 USD.
