Light from a laser hits a liquified resin which then hardens to create the aligner in the perfect shape for the patients mouth and teeth. A tiny, unique patient ID is printed on each aligner so that they don’t get mixed up or lost in travel.
Invisalign aligners are 100% safe, there are no BPA or latex. BPA refers to bisphenol A, harmful chemical that has been used to make plastics and resins alike. Invisalign uses a newer technology known as thermoplastics, which are completely safe and compatible with the human body.
