Anchor Computer, a full-service database marketing service bureau and data provider, unveils a new tool for customizing client’s output layouts. The Custom Output Layout Builder makes it easy for clients to form their output records in a layout that best fits their needs.When processing through Anchor’s website, clients can define what they would like their output file to look like in the same way they define their input file layout currently.
Anchor clients have the ability to choose all or some of their input fields, as well as all or some of the Anchor appended fields. They now also have the ability to change the order of the fields.
Furthermore, the tool allows for mixing and matching of input/output file types. For example, if a client comes in with a fixed length data file, they can opt to come out with a different type, such as delimited or Excel, and can save these custom input/output setups for later use.
For the clients that use Anchor’s pipeline method of submitting files, there are new XML tags available that will allow them to create custom outputs for that channel as well.
