Green Fields Bed & Breakfast is owned and operated by American Bill Wernicke. Bill receives his English Speaking Guests personally and prepares a homemade breakfast for everyone who chooses to come stay the night. Bill has lived in Colombia for over 7 years now and is here to help his guests enjoy the Colombia that he has come to love. “I love their reaction the first time my guests hear the ‘clop, clop’ sound of these well bred show horses prancing down the street out front of Green Fields. Their faces are priceless.” Bill says that while visitors are sure to see a couple of horses while they visit, it’s next month’s “Feria de Flores” that will really impress one most as thousands of beautiful horses in the area along with their riders parade through these areas of the Oriente de Antioquia. It’s truly a sight to see.
