NCFB Announces Love of the Land Event July 27, 2019 Black Stallion Winery – Napa

The NCFB is hosting the Love of the Land on July 27, 2019 and will award Peter Nissen as the 2019 Agriculturalist of the Year and Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza as the 2019 Friend of Agriculture.

The Napa County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce their annual Love of the Land Celebration to be held at the Black Stallion Winery at 4089 Silverado Trail in Napa, CA. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 6 pm to 10 pm PT. Click here to access the registration link.


The Love of the Land event will draw their largest membership and community crowd of the year. Highlights of the evening will include live music and a Lobster Feed, catered by Sorenson Catering. The celebration includes a live and silent auction benefiting both the Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation and the Aldo Delfino Scholarship Fund,


Additionally, The NCFB will officially award Peter Nissen as the 2019 Agriculturalist of the Year and Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza as the 2019 Friend of Agriculture. These awards reflect two of the highest honors that the Napa County Farm Bureau bestows on individuals in the community.

Aldo Delfino was the late Napa County Agricultural Commissioner who valued both the opportunity to attend college as well as the opportunity to serve Napa County’s community and agricultural industries. Qualified students must be planning on studying agriculture or a related field after graduation and returning to Napa County to work as a professional in an agricultural related industry. To date Aldo Delfino Memorial Scholarship fund has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships. Please contact the NCFB for more information.


Napa County Farm Bureau is a 105-year-old, membership-driven organization serving over 700 local farmers and ranchers in Napa County. The membership includes individuals involved in agriculture and related businesses supporting their goals, activities and services. The NCFB is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose basic goal is to foster the political, social, and economic climate for the continuation of agriculture. The Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit, formed in 2017 to expand local agricultural education and community outreach activities.
