Klamboe® Mosquito Net Collection has just announced the release of its impregnated travel line of mosquito nets. The addition of these impregnated nets to their collection adds an efficient and environmentally friendly solution to avoid zooming and biting nuisances, particularly in regions of infected and disease carrying mosquitoes.

According to the World Health Organization (W.H.O.), the most deadly animal in the world is the mosquito. More than 1 million people every year are killed by the result of a mosquito. The diseases they spread by their bites include Zika virus, malaria, dengue fever, West Nile and chikungunya.

The newest spread has been Zika virus, with 4 continents reporting infection cases according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). However, a majority of the million deaths each year are due to malaria. The W.H.O. estimates between 300 to 500 million cases of malaria occur each year, with a child dying from malaria every 30 seconds.

Impregnated mosquito nets are being used frequently where malaria exists. The CDC cites that insecticide treated bed nets can cut mortality rates from mosquitoes by 20 percent. The travel line of mosquito nets from Klamboe® Mosquito Net Collection are available impregnated with permethrin.

Permithrin is used to kill mosquitoes when they come in contact with the mosquito netting. After removing the impregnated mosquito net from the package the poison will work three to six months. Mosquito nets can be impregnated again.

After creator Edwin Van Hellenberg Hubar began research on mosquito nets to find a simple solution to his native Amsterdam’s annoying mosquito problem, he established the Klamboe® Mosquito Net Collection when he visited Asia. Along with the work of creative director Saskia van Vollenhoven, the line of mosquito nets has grown.

The company produces and markets mosquito nets in a variety of designs and colors made with high-quality micro polyester and All-Natural nets made from 100% natural cotton or bamboo fibers. They are made exclusively by Klamboe® Mosquito Net Collection, professionally tailored with run-proof weaves.

The Collection includes mosquito nets in a variety of materials, colors and sizes for baby and kids, circular mosquito nets, cotton and bamboo mosquito nets, framed mosquito nets, rectangular mosquito nets and travel mosquito nets.

The nets include no electric devices and no toxin-infused aerosols that are unhealthy to humans. Full details of the Net Collection and images are available by visiting the Klamboe® Mosquito Net Collection website.
