Mortality Revolution Impacts Financial Products Like Never Before

Americans are living longer in record numbers, and most don't know how much this is affecting their life insurance premiums.

The first human to live to age 150 has already been born. This shocking prediction comes from Aubry de Grey, international adjunct professor and noted gerontologist. Over 14 years ago, the front page of the Arizona Republic featured tri-centurions born in 1898 and 1899. Mostly women, they had already lived in three centuries. For those born 100 years later, beginning in the 1990s, many will become super centurions, pushing toward 200 years of age.

This phenomenon is not an aberration. There are more Americans living past 100 years of age than ever before.
