Walker SEO, a Search Engine Optimization firm announced today the repositioning of the company, and with it a new look. The company is now focusing on being more of a Marketing Agency and Internet Marketing Consulting firm in addition to just focusing on Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).The new positioning for the company as a marketing agency will be reflected in the new company logo and new website that will be launched this week.
President and CEO Martin Walker explains "We were doing more and more marketing consulting and Internet marketing work in addition to the organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) work." "So I wanted to position the company such that it was represented more accurately," Walker added.
Walker has a background in Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations so the company is able to provide a wide variety of services to its clients from SEO and SEM to branding support and development to logo design and brand positioning.
"Our clients understand what we do, but we wanted to have the company reflect more of a consultant firm also." Walker says. "We can act solely as a consultant and clients can implement action items themselves, or we can implement for them as a service," Walker says.
MK Walker will move more in the direction of an ad agency or an Internet Marketing Firm by providing marketing solutions and recommendations for businesses of all sizes. The company is primarily focusing on businesses with annual gross billings of 5 to 50 million dollars per year.
"It's funny," Walker adds "We have been providing these additional services for our clients over the last couple of years but have still called ourselves an SEO company. I think this new moniker will be more accurate."
The company recently partnered with link building service The Hoth for clients to have the ability to create their own back link building packages and has also built strategic partnerships and affiliate relationships with design firms, press release distribution channels and article marketing companies.
