Poplar Bluff, Missouri-based Daniel Owen, a Southern Rock, Country, and Blues artist, has created a unique blend of music aptly named the ‘Missouri Mud Movement’. Heading the Missouri Mud Music Movement, Daniel Owen, muscle car restorer and musician, who proudly supports the ‘Wounded Warrior Project’, which helps veterans, has released his latest album ‘Simple Life’.

Recently released, the album ‘Simple Life’ features nine tracks that range between 3.27 minutes and 5.15 minutes in duration. With a total play time of just over 35 minutes, the album is Southern Rock based and draws in listeners who enjoy rock and roll, country music, and the blues with a new-found music style called Missouri Mud.
Having just won songwriter of the year, Daniel Owen’s songs are all original, with no covers in his collection. He has developed his Missouri Mud Music with the help of fine studio musicians, which combines the rough smoky vocals of Daniel, and the sweet guitar tunes of Daniel Addison, along with other outstanding musicians.
Encouraged by his mother to pursue music from an early age, Daniel Owen played his first song ‘Ghost Riders in The Sky’ when he was just 14-years-old. Daniel Owen then went on to wrote his first song in 1990, but it took reconnecting with his childhood sweetheart, now wife, to inspire Daniel to record his music and share this with others.
