FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASELas Vegas, Nevada (June 27, 2019) Miss Earth USA delegates are committed to using their collective voices and public platform to advocate for environmental responsibility, proudly serving as role models for the preservation and restoration of the planet. The annual Miss Earth USA pageant, with the precursor to Miss Earth set to take place this fall -- focuses on empowering women, promoting eco-tourism and aiding environmental causes around the globe. On June 30, Emanii Davis, Miss Georgia Earth, was crowned Miss Earth USA 2019 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
In addition to interviews, posing for photos and a poolside swimsuit showcase, the multi-day pageant event included a service day where delegates dedicated time to cleaning-up Flores Park in Las Vegas. Garbo Grabber, a proud partner and sponsor of Miss Earth USA and the national service day, supplied each delegate with their Trash Baggers and reachers to make the job easier and more enjoyable.

At Flores Park, the Miss Earth USA ladies removed trash that would have otherwise become harmful to wildlife and humans, and restored an outdoor livable space in North Las Vegas beloved for its open fields and tree-lined walking paths. The delegates’ hands-on educational approach stretches beyond Flores Park and the pageant world though, as they raise environmental awareness back in their home states and local communities. Equipped with Garbo Grabber products, the delegates and the Miss Earth USA organization at-large are hosting clean-up days and service projects in towns across the United States and around the globe.
"Partnering with Garbo Grabber is one of the best decisions we've made as an organization,” said Ariel Sorensen, Assistant National Director for Miss Earth USA. “Over the last two years, we have expanded our clean-up activities to an international level due to the increase in productivity and efficiency while using the Trash Bagger. Under the Vegas sun, the Miss Earth USA ladies worked to clean up trash like bottles, cans and cigarette butts. As they worked, they spent time connecting and getting to know each other, sharing their stories and goals among the group. Their tasks were made simpler thanks to Garbo Grabber products, which allowed for efficient, easy clean-up and smiles all around.
“These ladies are networking and raising awareness regarding the local impact of a global issue,” said Ashley Lionetti, owner of Garbo Grabber. “Our products have assisted them well in Las Vegas and beyond.
