Many “mumpreneurs” start online businesses but hold back in truly showing the world their full potential.So says Kristyn Culliver, an entrepreneur and “Mindset and Business Coach for Mums” who helps her clients create bold and visible brands.
Culliver is sharing her own story in the new book “Change Makers: 25 Transformational Stories From Women Making An Impact In The Lives Of Others (Volume Book 4).” She’s one of 25 women featured in the book, which includes the authentic, personal stories of successful women, each sharing her own unique vision for impact.
As the founder of the “Mums in Online Business” Facebook community, Culliver works one-on-one with mums to help them tackle whatever is holding them back mentally while sharing her proven strategies for scaling businesses.
“We are kickass mum bosses supporting one another to be completely unstoppable,” she said. “I am here to raise the bar of performance and professionalism for mums in business. Sure, we have conflicting responsibilities, but it doesn't lessen the value we can add to this world.”
According to Culliver, the struggles a new mum experiences internally are rarely spoken about, causing many mothers to feel isolated, lost, and alone as they grapple with how to balance a career with motherhood while redefining their identities.
“My intention is to let mums know they are not alone and they have the ability to create a life they love on their terms,” she said. “Once they become a mother, a woman becomes so powerful in so many ways -- her potential is unlimited. My work is to inspire mums to continue to chase their dreams and build their empires.”
Released last month, the fourth volume of Change Makers is already a top-ranked bestseller topping multiple Amazon charts in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
“I feel so honoured to become a bestselling author,” Culliver said. “I have always wanted to be an author, so the fact that I have achieved that AND that the book has become a best seller is quite surreal.”
Culliver was selected to share her story by Emma Hamlin, the book’s publisher and founder of Change Maker Press. Hamlin is herself a bestselling author, publisher, and strategic book coach who founded her company to provide a space for innovative and inspiring women to be seen and heard.
