CEVO’s micro electric vehicle, CEVO-C, is gaining popularity with its economic efficiency and stylish design.The electric mobility market started growing rapidly as air pollution control act strengthened in Korea. CEVO-C, the first micro electric vehicle launched by CAMMSYS in 2019, surprised the market with its unique design and convenience.
CEVO-C is a micro electric vehicle with the size less than 2.5m, perfect for two passengers. The vehicle uses lithium battery to charge power, taking approximately 3 hours to drive up to 66.7km (room temperature, urban) and 70.4km (low temperature, urban).
Some might question the safety due to its slim body, but CEVO-C is developed with best-in-class safety system such as space body frame, in-battery fire extinguishing equipment, Hill-start Assist Control Algorithm (HACA), and booster + disc brake. In addition, for suspension, Macpherson Strut and Rigid Axle are used for front and back to reduce shock absorption. Trendy colors of Midnight Blue, Passion Red, Aqua Blue, Lime Green are met with stylish design to capture attention.

The first reaction to CEVO-C was tremendously positive; the number of advance reservations exceeded the total sales of micro electric cars from all across the brands. The demands for automobiles are peaking after the outbreak of COVID-19, due to the fear of mass contagion on public transportation. Micro electric vehicle is considered as a reasonable alternative nowadays for it’s perfect for running everyday errands and convenient enough to be charged at home. In September, CEVO is expecting to move production base from China to Yeonggwang in South Korea to gear up for the export to South East Asian markets.
