Michael Dorsey spiritual growth leader and owner of Malakim Press has relaunched his self titled website Michael Dorsey Online for spiritual growth. Michael a 20 year veteran to spiritual studies started writing books several years ago. Michael says “The website is meant to be a central place for people to learn how to pray daily as well as worship God. Plus my collections of books can help them study the Bible.”
Reverend Michael Dorsey recalls that as a young boy in Sunday school, they would sometimes compete in a game called Sword Drills. This game taught children how to find their way around the Bible quickly. This game became the inspiration for the title of one of his books which is actually a workbook. Reverend Michael Dorsey continued saying that “This workbook began as part of a 4-week course I taught at Riverside Church in the summer of 2013.”
Reverend Dorsey’s other books are also featured on his website and covers information about the Bible, Bible study tools, and Bible study methods. Reverend Dorsey believes his goal is to answer questions about how to navigate through the word with confidence. As well as how to select a trustworthy and reliable Bible version. Because the Bible can change people and draw them closer to God through daily devotional study and prayer.
Reverend Dorsey also said “People are not taught how to worship. Believers everywhere are willing to worship God. They want to worship God. They just don’t know how even though they understand that it’s important, but they don’t know what to do. No one has ever taken the time to teach them, or been able to break it down in a way they can understand.”
