Methven Rua is a sleek and innovative shower head that helps users regulate water usage. The technology creates a comfortable and effective spray while only using 1.8 gallons of water per minute. With the 2.5 gallon-per-minute standard in the United States, Methven Rua is a beautiful and sensible solution to water conservation. The device mounts on the wall or can be used as a handheld extension. Rua uses hidden nozzles, which generate individual jets of water that make contact with angled surfaces. At that point of contact, the water launches out from the channel of the head, which creates even fans of water.
Pricing and Availability
Rua is available to back now on KickStarter. They hope to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the showerhead is set to produce and ship to all backers by December of 2017. The starting price for one unit is $169 USD.
