“Often in times of crisis, any decision is better than no decision,” said Major Matina Jewell (Ret’d), International Leadership Strategist and Keynote Speaker. “The worst thing I could have done [under fire] was freeze. There are times when you just have to jump in. It is important to take action in crisis moments despite huge pressure, particularly where lives are on the line.”
“Keep momentum in a decision capacity, so that even if we make a wrong decision, we can make another one and get back on track. Once you’ve stopped making decisions, then it can be a really massive step to make that first decision again,” said Matina Jewell, Leadership Executive Advisor and a Best Selling Author. “If we can chunk down the decision into smaller ones, it can build our confidence in a decision making capacity.”
