Maricopa County Night Court Judge David Osterfeld September 12 Event Announced

Judge David Osterfeld of the White Tank Justice Court will hold Night Court on September 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The judge and staff will be available for walk-ins, rescheduled arraignments, order to show cause hearings, and more for cases filed there.

Maricopa County Justice Courts announced that Judge David Osterfeld of the White Tank Justice Court in Maricopa County will hold Night Court on September 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Night Court is provided as a community service to help people address their warrants, order to show cause hearings, and scheduled arraignments after work.

David M. Osterfeld, who served as the Justice of the Peace for the White Tank Precinct since his election in November 2014, will hold Night Court on September 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome at the Night Court.


White Tank Justice Court Night Court will handle cases involving criminal traffic violations and other criminal misdemeanor charges. Judge David Osterfeld and staff will be available for walk-ins, resolution of open warrants, rescheduled arraignments, Orders to Show Cause hearings and more for cases filed in the White Tank Justice Court.


Judge Osterfeld graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and earned his law degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is a licensed attorney and had practiced law in both the government and private sectors for 15 years prior to taking the bench at White Tank.


Judge Osterfeld currently serves as a reserve member of the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps and has served duty at Luke AFB in Glendale, Arizona. He also served as a prosecutor, defense counsel, legal adviser to elected leaders and government agencies, private counsel for multi-million dollar corporations, adviser to military commanders and leaders, and as an appellate lawyer.


Additionally, the judge serves as Co-Chair of the Maricopa County Justice Court Best Practices Committee, as a member of the Professional Standards Committee, and has been twice appointed by the Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court to serve on the State, Tribal, and Federal Court Forum.


According to Maricopa County Justice Courts, the White Tank Justice Court will be open the second Thursday of each month from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.


The stated mission of the Maricopa County Justice Courts is: “to provide professional Judicial Services to court users so they can obtain timely and economical justice within their community”.
